The OK sign actually does mean “okay” in the United States and Europe.

In Brazil, Germany, Russia, and many other countries around the world, the OK

sign is a very offensive gesture because it is used to depict a private bodily orifice.



In Japan, this gesture stands for “money.”
In France, Tunisia and Belgium it means “zero” or “worthless.”
In Venezuela and Turkey, gesturing to someone in this way implies that they are a homosexual.
